It is increasingly common to hear the term colorimetry. So much so that recent economic studies ensure that this knowledge of color will become the purchasing trend in the coming years. In other words, the customer will make their purchases according to the colors that best suit their morphology and style. But do you really know it?
The term may sound familiar to you: something related to color, the seasons of the year... Colorimetry is really a seasonal color analysis method that is according to our skin tone, hair color and eye color. That is, knowing which color palette (cold or warm) is more in line with our body and our style. Nature divides the year into four seasons: fall, spring, summer and winter. Each of them has its own colors. Just as the seasons have their color, people have a specific type of skin color that is complementary to one of these seasonal palettes. And you may be wondering, what is this really for? Well, it serves to know what tones and what colors highlight your features the most and thus get the best out of your looks.
Let's start with a few simple questions:
What are my personal colors? Those that are in harmony with your skin and eliminate unnecessary shadows, such as dark circles. If a color enhances them... it's not your color.
Am I cold or warm toned? To find out, look in the mirror without makeup and with natural light, then try putting on gold and silver jewelry. The one that enhances your face will tell you if you have cold or warm colors. Remember that warm tones resemble fire (yellows, reds, oranges... and their undertones) and cold tones remind us of water (blue, green...)
Here I leave you some graphs that can be very useful to know what your colorimetry is:
A broad knowledge of your colorimetry, morphology and some style keys... will change the way you dress and buy, because you will only acquire wearable garments that will highlight your style to the fullest! If with this post it has not been clear to you... you can ask me for a consultation and I will help you delighted!
